MR. GERSCH IS THE FOUNDER OF GERSCH REAL ESTATE (“GRE”) AND CO-FOUNDER OF RESILIRE REAL ESTATE PARTNERS (“RESILIRE”) WITH OVER 18 YEARS OF REAL ESTATE EXPERIENCE IN FINANCE, ACQUISITIONS & DISPOSITIONS, CAPITAL MARKETS, DEVELOPMENT, PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT, ASSET MANAGEMENT AND RECEIVERSHIP SERVICES ON ALL COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE PRODUCT TYPES.  ADDITIONALLY, MR. GERSCH IS CO-FOUNDER OF PERICLES DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS (“PERICLES”) – AN OWNER-DEVELOPER SPECIALIZING IN VALUE CREATION OF COMMUNITY ORIENTED MULTIFAMILY, AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND SENIOR HOUSING PROPERTIES LOCATED THROUGHOUT THE MID-ATLANTIC, ROCKY MOUNTAIN AND SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA REGIONS. 

MR. GERSCH HAS SUCCESSFULLY ASSISTED CLIENTS NATIONWIDE WITH ASSET MANAGEMENT OF DISTRESSED COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE LOANS, TROUBLED DEBT RESTRUCTURING, INVESTOR DUE DILIGENCE AND ACQUISITIONS & DISPOSITIONS OF COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE ASSETS & LOANS.  MR. GERSCH LED ACQUISITION EFFORTS ON $1.5 BILLION IN PRIVATE, PUBLIC AND FDIC SPONSORED NON-PERFORMING COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE LOAN PORTFOLIOS ON BEHALF OF PRIVATE INVESTOR GROUPS AND REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT FIRMS, AS WELL AS MANAGED, RESTRUCTURED AND RESOLVED OVER $500 MILLION OF ACQUISITION, DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION REAL ESTATE LOANS FROM A FAILED BANKING INSTITUTION PREVIOUSLY HELD IN RECEIVERSHIP BY THE FDIC.  PRIOR TO FOUNDING GRE, RESILIRE AND PERICLES, MR. GERSCH WORKED CLOSELY WITH SENIOR EXECUTIVES AT LOWE ENTERPRISES REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT GROUP, GENERAL ELECTRIC COMMERCIAL AND HEALTHCARE REAL ESTATE GROUPS AND HELLER FINANCIAL. 

THROUGHOUT HIS CAREER, MR. GERSCH HAS ASSISTED IN THE FINANCIAL UNDERWRITING OF OVER $850 MILLION OF DEBT & EQUITY PRODUCTS IN COMMERCIAL AND HEALTHCARE REAL ESTATE PROPERTIES, INCLUDING MULTI-FAMILY, OFFICE, INDUSTRIAL, MIXED-USE, VACATION OWNERSHIP, SENIOR HOUSING AND MEDICAL OFFICE PROPERTIES.  MR. GERSCH ALSO ASSISTED INVESTMENT OFFICERS IN ORIGINATING OVER $200 MILLION OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING TAX-CREDIT AND TAX-EXEMPT BOND INVESTMENTS.  ADDITIONALLY, MR. GERSCH HAS ADVISED CLIENTS ON THE ACQUISITION OF OVER $150 MILLION OF MULTI-FAMILY AND MIXED-USE REAL ESTATE ASSETS.  FURTHER, MR. GERSCH HAS LED PROJECT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES ON SEVERAL LARGE, MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENTS IN THE MID-ATLANTIC REGION, INCLUDING SITE PROCUREMENT, PROGRAMMING, DESIGN, ENTITLEMENT AND FINANCING ON A $250,000,000 MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT LOCATED IN WASHINGTON D.C.

MR. GERSCH EARNED A BBA IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION WITH A DOUBLE-MAJOR IN REAL ESTATE & URBAN LAND ECONOMICS AND FINANCE, INVESTMENT & BANKING FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-MADISON.
